Dr. Jordan Lopez is originally from right here in Ocala, FL. She moved to Gainesville, FL, for her undergrad degree at the University of Florida. She majored in biology as an undergrad and was able to stay at UF for Vet School.  She came to Peterson Smith Equine Hospital + Complete Care for an Ambulatory Internship and was hired on as an Associate the following year. She has an interest in reproduction , ophthalmology and also preventative care.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Lopez enjoying typical Florida activities such as fishing, finding new places to paddleboard and relaxing on her in-law’s farm filled with an assortment of animals.
