Dr. Hamm grew up in the small town of Two Hills, Alberta, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Calgary. She has a strong clinical interest in equine surgery, lameness, and sports medicine, with a focus on helping performance horses return to peak condition. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and previously competed in barrel racing—a passion that sparked her deep connection to equine athletes. Dr. Hamm lives with her husband and their two dogs, Peach the chihuahua and Tallboy the miniature dachshund. Her long-term goal is to become an equine surgeon and stay actively involved in the rodeo community.
