Peterson Smith's Advanced Fertility Center offers a complete range of mare and stallion services to fit the needs of all clients, from the largest commercial breeders to the individual hobbyist.

The Advanced Fertility Center (AFC) at Peterson Smith Equine Hospital + Complete Care conducts all aspects of assisted reproduction at its 100-acre facility in Summerfield, Florida. Since its inception in 1999, the center has solidified a reputation of providing the most current services the industry has to offer to our clientele.

The center offers a complete range of mare and stallion services to fit the needs of all clients, from the largest commercial breeders to the individual hobbyist. All services are designed with flexibility in mind. Breeders can choose to have the AFC handle all the details of their breeding program, or act as a referral center to perform the services that are not easily performed at home, or anywhere in between. In most cases, reproductive services for both mares and stallions can be provided through boarding at our facility, or on an outpatient basis. The AFC is headed by Peterson Smith's Melissa J. Prell, DVM, MS, DACT.
